In Sickness wins Gold Award

South Africa's The Animation School has been pulling up a few trees of late, with its students earning a number of accolades around the world.

In Sickness – a short directed by Ian Van Heerden – won the World Gold Gold at the New York Festivals, and took second place at the AnimationSA Student Awards. The film is about a young man's final dream before he dies. His wife visits him and tries to save him from this nightmare. "In Sickness is my first animated short film, and I'm extremely happy with it," said Ian.
