Ray Harryhausen is set to return to the spotlight, twenty fives years after his stop-motion wonders last graced the silver screen.

Working with Mindfire Entertainment, a new range of movies for cinema and television, with videogame, comicbooks and novelisations are all planned for release under the 'Ray Harryhausen Presents' moniker. Unproduced fantasy and sci-fi works from the 85-year old animation legend will provide the source material, with effects work eschewing miniatures in favour of modern CG techniques.

"These stories are universal, and I could not be more thrilled than to revisit some of my favourite worlds - past, present and future - in these new films," says Harryhausen.
