Ruairi Robinson's The Silent City vodcast

Ruairi Robinson's new film The Silent City features in this week's vodcast. The Oscar nominated director, animator and member of Imagineanimation.net has put together a video showing visual effects breakdowns and before and after comparisons for the film. It makes for extremely interesting viewing and is a must for animation professionals.

This is brilliant but it's only a taster, as Robinson says: "I've tried to avoid completely ruining watching the film by looking at this, but it's tough, because for starters the film is only 7 1/2 minutes long (and edited in a comparatively spare way) and also big effects shots also tend to give away plot details. So I've cut out the ones that COMPLETELY ruin watching the film, but if you would rather see the film properly, I'd suggest you wait till afterwards to watch any of the making of type stuff..."
